TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS



Delivery

Delivery dates are approximate only and delivery will be arranged as soon as practicable.



Payment Terms and Prices

Subject to credit being approved and unless expressly agreed accounts are due for payment not later than the end of the month following the month of despatch; otherwise payment must be received by the company before delivery. Prices do not include VAT, which will be charged at the current rate. Prices are liable to change without notice.



Risk

All risk in goods pass to the customer when the goods are delivered at the customer’s premises.



Carriage Charge

Carriage will be charged at £10.50 per consignment if the order is under £150.00.



Special Items

The company requires a 20% deposit for supplying special goods. Cancellation of order’s for these items will not be allowed under any circumstances. The goods are also non-returnable.



Faulty Goods

In the event of goods proving faulty, they will be replaced, but no liability for consequential damage will be accepted.



Returns

Returns, amendments or cancellations must be reported to the company within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Returns will incur a handling charge of 20%. All goods supplied by E4 Architectural Ironmongery Ltd remain the property of the company until paid in full.
